This book was written to help others and show there is a light at the end of a long dark tunnel. There was little information when I desperately needed help. I decided to tell my story so victims and their loved ones need to know they are not alone. Child sexual abuse affects the lives of the victims; it also breaks families up. Lies and deceit can manipulate the system. Family and friends find it hard to believe and the stigma of mental health is always there. I witnessed horrific psychotic intensity flashbacks where my youngest daughter physically relived the abuse. Watching my daughters self-harm and dealing with their suicidal thoughts was soul-destroying, I was in unprecedented territory, as a mother I never expected this to happen to my family. When the trauma is buried deep in their subconscious; behavior can present itself in an irrational manner. I tried hard to understand and support my adult daughters, unfortunately it was beyond my control. Let our children know it is safe to disclose the truth and allow their feelings and emotions to be heard. Let's make aware of the lifelong damage child abuse can cause. Justified Anger explains Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and helps us to recognize what can happen when a young victim conceals the emotional pain and the conscious mind of the adult is terrified of acknowledging the abuse.
