Boots Mackovich P.I.: Missing Time, Boots Mackovich P.I.: Missing Time

Private investigator Elizabeth "Boots" Mackovich is no stranger to unravelling tough cases, but when her best friend, journalist Hayley O'Connell, returns from a routine UFO sighting assignment with missing memories, a chilling confession, and a two-month pregnancy she can't explain, Boots finds herself drawn into a mystery far beyond anything she's ever faced. Haunted by Hayley's fragmented memories of lights in the sky and gaps in time, Boots travels to the quiet town of Brentwater-a place with more secrets than answers. What starts as an investigation into a strange UFO sighting quickly spirals into a deeper, more disturbing reality as Boots uncovers reports of missing people, unexplained disappearances, and locals who refuse to talk. Joined by Hayley's boss and friend, Susannah "Mac" MacKenzie, Boots must piece together the truth of what happened to Hayley before the missing time catches up with them all. But in Brentwater, some things are better left in the dark. In a town where memories vanish and time bends, Boots is about to discover that the truth may be more terrifying than the unknown.
