Highly sensitive person (HSP) is an innate personality trait introduced by American psychologist Elaine Aron. In this book for HSPs, students, and other general readers, author Isle Sand, a Danish psychotherapist and priest, explains how HSP is different from simple introversion or shyness, and provides advice on coping with the negative aspects, such as being affected by others’ moods, and on how to embrace the positive aspects of being highly sensitive, such as spirituality and emotional depth.
